Hollywood Ending, My New Favorite Band

Hollywood Ending.
No, it's not about the end of Hollywood. It's about a band that begins their journey in the music field, a band from US-UK. Chris, Cameron, Dan, Tyler.
James Bourne tweeted about Hollywood Ending several times, because his brother, Chris, is a member of the band. I knew Chris when he was little through Busted. I am a massive fan of Busted!
When James tweeted about them, I wanted to check them out, but I kept forgetting. My bad! Then they did a cover of Hanson's Mmmbop with Paradise Fears, another amazing band. When Paradise Fears tweeted about their collaboration cover with Hollywood Ending, I couldn't wait to see them any longer!
I checked them out ASAP, and they were awesome! When I first saw Chris, I was surprise because he's grown up and he looks so much like James! I knew that Bourne-typed face! :p
I tried digging information about them and their videos, and they are freaking amazing!! The more I listen to their songs, the more I like these guys!
Well, they're a bunch of good looking and talented guys. (sadly, they're younger than me! zzzzz)
I told my friends to listen to their songs, I showed their videos, and I think they liked them! :p

I want Hollywood Ending to be big. No, not because James' brother is in the band, but because I love them and they're talented and they're blooming awesome! Anyway! Hollywood Ending has been following me on twitter since I tweeted them last night! hehe

The Wanted, My British Bad Boys

I watched The Wanted's excellent performance on American Music Awads 2012 this morning, and I was thinking to write a blog about The Wanted.

When I first listened to All Time Low on youtube, I didn't know that The Wanted would be this special to me. I was like "Okay, the song is good".
Time flies by, The Wanted are getting popular, girls were talking about him, press were writing about them, so I started to seek information about this boyband and started to listen to their songs.
I didn't know what made me want to get to know more and more about this boyband. Well, it maybe when The Wanted were in the same studio with McFly on tMi Christmas Special 2010. They had some kind of quizzes, and they were all so crazy that they were about to destroy the studio! haha
Bought their albums, watched their videos, and I realized, I was falling for this boys - still am. People are comparing them with One Direction, and some media wrote bad news about them, heated the competition between these 2 boybands. I love One Direction, been supporting them since they began their career, but to me, The Wanted are still better than One Direction. Their songs, voices, stage performances, everything!
When The Wanted announced their Indonesian concert, I was like the happiest girl alive! Here are the members of The Wanted:

1. Nathan Sykes

Although Nathan is the youngest member of the band, he's got the best voice, seriously! For me, Nathan's a sweet innocent kid. He likes McFly (that's a plus point for me!) He started his singing career when he was still little.
When I met him, I only got very little time to speak to him, but I didn't get a chance to take pictures or even to hug him, sadly!

2. Tom Parker

Tom's like the bad boy in the band! He says whatever he wants, causing bad impression to media. But I don't care! At least he's not a fake ;)
He's got rocky voice. He's the best one to hug!
He tweeted me a happy birthday on my 20th birthday, made him my second favourite member! hehe
When I met him, I only spoke to him a little, but I got a chance to hug him and to take pictures. I even got a high-five! :')

3. Siva Kaneswaran

Siva is the sweetest guy in The Wanted! He's got very sweet voice. He looks like the combination of Zayn Malik and Taylor Lautner! hehe
He laughes a lot!
When I met him, Siva gave me a hug first, talked to me, well, he's the sweetest! Have I told you that he hugged me twice? ;)

4. Jay McGuiness

The only curly boy in the band. He's got the best moves. He moves... a lot! haha
He might not be the youngest, but he's the childish one!
He's accent is so 'sexy', sometimes I don't understand what he says -_-
When I met him, he was so friendly when I came to him. He is the funniest one in the band!

5. Max George

The bad boy of the band. His voice is amazing!
I barely know him because... well yeah, no reason why :/
I have no memories with him. I only met him to take his pictures on the interview in Jakarta.
Have I told you that he's got beautiful eyes?!

Sebenarnya ini acara udah lama banget, tapi ga afdol rasanya kalo gue ga tulis di blog tercinta ini.
gue sebagai admin @mcflyindonesia punya semacam 'geng' sesama fanbase (@PixieLott_ID @onedirection_ID @EdSheeranIndo) yang kebetulan semua artisnya gue suka. Awalnya kita kenalan di twitter, dan ngadain gathering kecil-kecilan di PIM. itulah awal ide IndoBritAddict terbentuk.
Sebulan sebelumnya, gue, Dicky, Nicky dan Tania mulai sibuk ngatur acara. Gue sih gak ngarep acara bakal booming, secara ini emang acara besar pertama McFlyIndonesia. Ada yang dateng aja gue udah syukur! Tiap minggu kita ngadain online meeting, ngomongin perkembangan tugas masing-masing, yang syukurnya gue punya partners yang asik banget! Sekitar H-7, gue semakin deg-degan, meskipun berusaha sok tenang. Hampir tiap malam gue dan Dicky chat berbagi semua ketakutan kami.
Hari-H.
Dengan berkostum ala Tom (meskipun tetep gak mirip sih), gue sampe di venue 3 jam sebelum acara mulai. Waktu Nicky datang, mulailah kepanikan kami. Ternyata Wristband yang akan dibagikan ke peserta belum dikirim! Well, keputusannya, WB bakal dikirim ke alamat masing2 peserta.
Ada Jeni, peserta yang paling pertama dateng. Akhirnya kami bertemu!! Kita udah kenal baik via online, tapi belum pernah ketemu. Tapi sayangnya gue ga bisa ngobrol lama-lama, karna sibuk urus persiapan acara. *Sorry Jen!
Peserta yang datang semakin banyak. Nervous gue meningkat karna ini pertama kalinya gue bakal nge-MC, pemirsah!!
Acara dimulai.
Di stage, gue nge-MC dengan gaya sok asik, padahal di otak gue bingung banget mau ngapain! awkward!
Di acara ini, gue bangga banget sama Galaxy Defenders yang datang.
Sebelumnya, kita semua belum pernah ketemu. Pas acara, GDs ngumpul, duduk di 1 meja dan langsung akrab banget kayak teman lama. Rasanya gue gak mau ke stage lagi! gue mau disitu aja duduk sama mereka!
GDs rajin banget ikut games! haha meskipun jumlah GDs gak sebanyak Directioners yang datang, tapi terasa banget kalo GDs yang paling solid. Pas Rendy dan Fajar perform (asli, mereka keren banget!) ngecover lagu McFly, gue kembali kesenengan, berasa dikasih kejutan gitu! Tanpa direncanakan sebelumnya, ternyata bukan cuma Fajar dan Rendy yang tampil. Kathleen dan Jeje ikut perform, bawain All About You. Di lagu Too Close For Comfort, Jeni juga ikutan perform. Gue udah bilang belum kalo gue bangga sama mereka? yes! bangga banget!
Felani dan ka Octav tampil tribute to Pixie Lott, dan seperti biasa, mereka emang keren banget!
Nicky juga perform bawain lagu Ed Sheeran. Disini gue bangga sama Nicky. Dia keren lho, berani nge-gitar dan nyanyi solo di stage! Gue? Gue baru sadar kalo gue cemen.
yang perform tribute to One Direction juga keren banget!
Makasih buat temen2 Westlifers gue yang dateng di acara itu juga. Meskipun cuma bisa ngobrol sebentar, kita masih sempet dong ngecengin bule-bule di Eastern Promise! hahaha
Ohlala! Ternyata games gak cuma untuk peserta. Gue, Dicky dan Tania juga ikut dikerjain. Kita harus masukin 23 marshmallow ke mulut, kayak yang pernah dilakukan Ed. Gue cuma berhasil masukin 7 marshmallow! Sekarang gue penasaran, sebesar apakah mulut Ed Sheeran? :\
Overall, acara ini terhitung sukses, kalo dilihat ini sebagai acara pertama McFlyIndonesia.
Makasih banget buat Dicky, Nicky dan Tania, jadi partners yang asik banget!
Makasih juga buat GDs yang udah bikin gue bangga banget! Oh iya, di akhir acara, gue baru sadar ada 2 GDs, Astri dan Shandy yang ternyata gak ikut gabung di 1 meja! So sorry! :(

Getting Hot With The Wanted

The Wanted Live in Jakarta was absolutely my best concert..... after McFly! :p
Well, I'm a massive fan of McFly and I had my crazy Galaxy Defenders with me to watch the show.
The Wanted's show was held at Istora Senayan. I went there with my 4 friends; Dicky, Pcha, Falila and Fauzi.
After meeting at fx Plaza Sudirman, we walked to the venue half an hour before the gate was opened. Arrived at the venue, I was waiting for the quiz winner to giver her a ticket. We entered the first gate at 6pm. Anyway, I'm always a naughty concert audience! :p Usually, the audience is forbidden to bring drink or food to the venue. But before a concert, I always buy a bottle of water, then hide it in my bag, in case I need it during the show. I never fail! :p
I asked Dicky to bring a bottle of water, then helped him to hide it. naughty!
we were taking pictures on the photo booth, having laugh.
I gave my ID card to Ian, so he could be the photographer and I was an audience. I tried to hide my right hand all the time cause there was an "ID" stamp on it.
Dicky was caught bringing a water, so his water was taken by the security. and Me? freeeee! So I told him to share my water :p
5 of us got the tribune ticket. it was my first time seeing a concert from a tribune, but it was not bad!
We were waiting for Kyle Patrick to come on to the stage for like an hour. Lucky cause I had my friends with me! We were talking about.... like.... everything!
Seconds before Kyle Patrick performed, Me and Fauzi screamed like crazy! We couldn't wait!
On the second song, Fauzi left us to get a better position to see Kyle, so it were the 4 of us who stayed. Dicky started to get crazy! Pcha and Falila sat beside me enjoying the show. I think they were saving their energy for The Wanted! ;) but Me and Dicky? we didn't stop screaming! "Dicky, We don't know the songs, so we'd better scream out loud!!!" and yes, Dicky obeyed! :p
When Kyle sang the "ooooo" part of Happy Birthday at the beginning of the song, I shouted "OMG DICKY! I LOVE THIS SONG!" Then I sang along like crazy!
I've told you that Kyle waved at us at the end of his performance. It was just amazing! I've met him before, but it still gave like... crazy sensation, you know! After Kyle performed, me and Dicky started to speak again, but hell! Our voices were getting bad! We almost lost our voices! hahaha
When The Wanted came onto the stage, Pcha and Falila started to get crazy!!! I kept screaming "OMG DEDEEEEEKKKK!!! DEDEEEKKK!!!" Like Nathan understood Bahasa -_-
I tried to be noticed by Nathan since he's my favorite member, but he didn't notice me, at all! :(
We danced, we jumped, we screamed out loud, we sang to the songs. It was completely fun!
I changed my shouting from "dedek" to "Nathan" because well, Nathan wouldn't understand dedek. but still, he didn't notice me! haha
When Nathan said they would take 5 girls to the stage, I screamed like hell! I knew I wouldn't be picked, but I didn't care! I just wanted to! Dicky even screamed to be picked to the stage! -_-
"Dicky, that's just for girls. You're supposed to help me! let's scream for Nathan!" and he obeyed, again! He helped me to scream for Nathan! amazing!
5 girls were finally picked onto the stage to be serenaded and treated sweetly by the lads. Jealousy hit me! I tried to ignore Nathan and his girl, but I just couldn't! I keep screaming, full of jealousy. Thank God I had Dicky! He was like my impingement, you know! I shook him, I shouted to him "DICKY, I WANNA BE THAT GIRL!" "OMG THAT SHOULD BE ME!" "OMG NATHAN CHEATED ON ME!" He just laughed and tried to enjoy the song! -____- No, I couldn't enjoy that song! I was extremely jealous! I wished the song would end very soon! Pardon me for being this overrated, you know what I mean? I turned to Falila and Pcha, they reacted the same! Jealousy hit them as bad!
It was an awesome moment when The Wanted sang Coldplay medley. They played music instrument!
I've seen Nathan with his keyboard like a thousand times, but Max with bass? Just... awesome! Tom was like a rock star, Siva was like a charming guitar prince to my eyes. This was one of my craziest concerts!
I didn't really like I Found You, but The Wanted played it very well on the stage! Live version is a thousand times better than the recorded version, I swear!!
The Wanted are excellent performers.
It was great to have amazing concert mates. Pcha, Falila and Dicky.
Pcha and Falila were awesome! The girls shouted all the time, we acted so much like crazy fangirls! Well, WE ARE!
Dicky? Don't ask! He was completely crazy! Let me tell you something.
So there's this group of people. We have our own fan bases. Tania, Nicky, Dicky and I. Among those four people, Dicky and I are probably the quietest members. The first time we met, we were asked to sing. Tania and Nicky sang easily. Dicky? we had to force him. Me? HAHAHA don't count on me! I won't sing in front of people!
But at the show, it changed 100%. Dicky and I were singing like hell! 
After the show, Pcha and Falila left first. 
I had to meet Kyle Patrick and Wendy, so Dicky waited for me. When I came back to him, he smiled to his phone, like a mad man. You know what?! Jay tweeted him, thanking him for coming to the show! Lucky Dicky is lucky!
well, as long as it's not Nathan, don't worry! I'm not jealous! :p

The Wanted in Jakarta (pt. 1)

Tom and Seev were looking at my camera, OMG!

 Kakak Welly told me that I was going to see The Wanted just several days before the show, and I was blooming happy cause I was saving my money, but still couldn't afford to buy the ticket! I said I was okay with not attending Java Soulnation 2012, and The Wanted show was a perfect replacement. Blooming perfect! I am a huge fan of The Wanted, even though I'm not calling myself as a TWFanmily. I'm most comfortable naming myself Galaxy Defender :')
It hit me when Welly said there would be no press conference. I kept ensuring myself to come to their hotel to meet them. At least to meet Nathan Sykes.
3 days before the show, I was told that there would be an interview! OMG!
I kept screaming and telling my friends about this, kept telling myself that God had a better plan for me. I kept imagining to do this, to do that, to say this, to say that when I meet Nathan.

D-Day
I arrived at the hotel early and met some TWFanmily. They knew I was from Creative Disc cause I was wearing CD shirt. They asked me where the room was, but I didn't tell them cause I wasn't allowed to. I'm terribly sorry :'( My twitter was spammed, full of fans who asked where The Wanted were. Again, I was sorry cause I wasn't allowed to tell, not because I wanted to! I just hoped that they would meet their idols, cause I knew how they felt. I hoped they knew the hotel, but not from me. I was once in their shoes, so I deeply understood them!
Me, Rendy, and The Fauzi waited for The Wanted, and I tried to control myself which was shivering much. Kak Rendy kept calming me and talked to me so I could calm my nerve.
I was thinking about Nathan when Rendy said "That's Jay!!" I turned around and there he was! walking, entering the room. My legs turned to jelly. My body was shaking so hard. I was thinking "Oh My God! That's Jay! That's only Jay, and I forget how to breath!"
There were 2 rooms, and we were told that The Wanted would be separated into two. I was hoping that Nathan was with me. We sat in a room, I took the front seat. Jay was the one who entered the room first. Followed by the other members. I tried to control my breath, until Nathan said "Hi everyone!" I (sort of) shouted "HI!!!!"
There were only 3 chairs. Jay was calling Tom to sit on his lap. Tom sat on Jay's lap, put his arms around Jay, saying "Jay is comfortable!" The crew took 2 more chairs, and Nathan sat right in front of me!
I came to Nathan to give a fanmail. "Nath, this is a letter from a fan. Please read it" Nath was looking at me, His eyes were so clear, I felt like I could see into his heart through his eyes! haha I realized that Nathan had chubby cheeks! "thank you! should I read it now?" Nathan said. "No, you can read it later". I acted like I wasn't a fan. Nathan should've known that deep in my heart, I was like "OMG Nathan, I love you! Take me wherever you are! I wanna be with you! Oh my Nath!"
Kak Rendy asked me to put his phone on the table, so I did it. "I wanna put it here" I said. "Sure you can!" Jay said with a little smile. I turned to Nathan and smiled at him, again. muehehe
The photo session began. I was the photographer. I told kak Rendy that since I would not speak properly in front of TW, he'd better be the interviewer and me as the photographer. I took their photos (mostly blur, tho!). Siva directed them to which direction they should turn. "left... middle.." "UP!" Tom shouted. I laughed a little. When they were turning right, I took some proper photos of them. I put down my camera to see them, and I noticed that Tom was looking at my camera! I put it up, ready to take pictures, but this time, I couldn't take proper picture cause I was being shaky!
I moved to another room to start the interview. Tom entered the room. I was happy, cause Tom was my 2nd favorite member, since he wished me a happy birthday on twitter! hehe I crossed my fingers, hoping Nathan would come too. But then Jay and Siva came. Nathan was with Max on the other room.
The interview went very well. They were nice and funny! They did a Gangnam Style! sexy!
I wanted to ask a question, but I felt like my tongue was feeling paralyzed! BUT! When Tom said although he didn't like football, but he supported Bolton Wanderer, "Cause you're from Bolton?" I said! Finally! haha Tom said yeah, it's because he's from Bolton. Actually they're not good :p

After the interview, I stole some time to take a picture. I acted so stupid! I held the camera, not giving it to somebody else to take our picture. Luckily, Ian took the picture with his BlackBerry. I'm sorry for being a twat! -_-
I hugged Tom, telling him actually I'm a fan. He thanked me. I turned to Siva, I think he heard what I was saying to Tom. Without asking, Siva joyfully said "you deserve a hug!" Then he hugged me! We had a little chat. "Will you be coming to the show?" Siva asked. "Sure I will! Good luck for tonight!" I said. "Thank you! See you!" I was about to come to Jay, but cancelled cause Jay was talking to someone else, and a woman from the label told me to hurry up. I pretended to walk into the door, but I cheated! :p When she wasn't noticing, I changed my direction! I walked to Tom again, to get a high five and to say a proper good luck! When I came to Siva, he shook my hand and hugged my again!

knowing that Jay's hand was on my shoulder, "I was touched by the hand of an angel"

Outside the room, I intended to wait for Nathan a little more. When I stood there, Nathan walked in front of me to move into the other room to have a meeting with the label and the sponsors, but I didn't have the courage to say anything to Nathan! :(
I insisted to stay a little more, but I gave up because the fans were starting to gather near the room. I thought I wouldn't have any good chance anymore.

I'm terribly sad that I couldn't speak to Nathan again, or taking pictures, but Alhamdulillah, the chance of meeting them is priceless!

Kyle Patrick in Jakarta

I wasn't a massive fan of Kyle Patrick. Well, I know him as the front man of The Click Five, I loved their songs, my cousin is his fan. When I got the job to interview him, I was like "okay, I'm gonna meet this cute guy!"
The place was at the pool side of The Sultan Hotel in Jakarta, the same hotel as McFly a year ago, when I met them. Entering the hotel, I couldn't stop memorizing my memories with McFly. Galau attacked me! :p
I was waiting with Rahmi, the owner of @tc5indonesia for half an hour. When Kyle came, Rahmi was "THAT'S KYLE! OMG!" and I was like "this is it! the time is now!" It was a round table interview. We were divided into groups, 5 medias per group, and I was at the first group. Kyle came with his manager, Wendy.
When I told Kyle that I was from Creative Disc, Kyle was happy! Creative Disc and Kyle-Wendy had been contacting each other, so they pretty knew each other. Kyle was asking my name and thank'd us (CD) for supporting him, tweeting about him, and everything. Kyle was about to hug me, but I was sitting there, silently, didn't know what to do! So the hug was cancelled! hahaha! The interview went well. Kyle gives great interviews! There was a funny moment during the interview. When Kyle was talking about Pledge Music, I turned to Rahmi, and Kyle noticed it. Kyle was happy when Rahmi told him she pledged. Kyle thanked her and talked to her, and she was shivering.... so hard! She gave me her camera (she was recording the video of the interview) cause she couldn't resist! hahaha
After the interview, Kyle shook our hands and I told him that Rahmi is the owner of his fanbase. He was surprised and gave Rahmi a sweet hug! Kyle gave me a copy of CD, then signed it after the interview was done.
My friend, Ivy, came and brought Kyle 2 bottles of Bir Bintang cause she knew Kyle loved that beer! Kyle was "No! you didn't!!!" cause he was too happy to have the beers! :p
We finally did group photos, personal photos, and I could see that Kyle and Wendy loved Creative Disc! They were so nice to me! I had a little chat with Wendy. Wendy said Kyle would love to visit Surabaya and Bali, but they have to get Go For Gold as number 1. Wendy also thanked Creative Disc for being so supportive on Kyle's solo project, and would love to meet Welly one day.

Day 2, After The Wanted gig
at the gig, Dicky and I screamed out loud when Kyle performed, til we lost our voices! We only knew 3 songs, but it didn't matter! Screaming was all that we can do! We were like "njfdsnfnsdvn GOOOOOO FOR GOOOOOLD!!!" At the end of his performance, Kyle waved to us! :')
After the gig, Me, Rendy and Ian met Kyle again. When the fans were waiting for their turn to speak to Kyle, I could feel their feelings! Don't forget, I'm a fangirl! :p
Wendy called Kyle, introduced Rendy and Ian to him. Kyle stood up, shook our hands. When it was my turn, Kyle shook my hand, I said "Hi Kyle! We meet again!" Kyle: "hey! I remember you!" then he hugged me! *the hug finally happened! haha* We couldn't take much of his time cause about 300 fans were still waiting!
Ian recorded Kyle, but Kyle thought Ian was taking a picture, so he pose a style. "Kyle, that's a video!" I said. "Oh! that's a video!" he then thanked Creative Disc and his fans on the video, continued by his fans shouting "Go For Gold Indonesia!!" amazing moment!
I had to go home earlier cause my parents were picking me up.

I think I am now a fan of Kyle Patrick!
Kyle, thank you for being so nice and humble. Thanks for the amazing memories. Hope to meet you again very soon!

David Cook live in Jakarta

Hey y'all beautiful people!
17 July 2012 lalu, gue nonton konser sang juara American Idol season 7, seorang cowok dengan brewok tipis dan suara nge-rock. yep, David Cook! dia itu jagoan gue waktu AI season 7!
Konser dibuka oleh finalis2 Indonesian Idol. gue masuk belakangan, jadi gue cuma nonton beberapa performances Indonesian Idol. Ga usah gue bahas kali ya..
Jadi pas David Cook tampil ke stage, gue terkesima! terkesima apa? brewok tipisnya! ke-macho-an lelaki yg punya brewok tipis, bersih dan rapi itu meningkat 102% menurut gue.
Sayangnya, ternyata gue ga tau banyak lagu dia. cuma beberapa lagu yang gue tau. udah gue bilang belum, kalo David Cook itu cowok banget?
sayangnya, menurut gue, mas David ini terlalu kalem, jarang melakukan hal "nakal" untuk bikin penonton histeris. 1 hal yang gue kagum dari dia, dia bisa banget lho nyanyi sambil ngunyah permen karet! kalo gue, pasti udah ketelen duluan! ok, ini random.
David sempet duet sama Regina Ivanova. untuk sesaat, gue berharap gue jago nyanyi supaya bisa diajak duet juga sama artis internasional. hasrat terpendam gue sih..
yang sangat gue sayangkan dari konser ini, sound nya jelek abiiiissss!! David suaranya jadi ga kedengeran bagus, dan dia ngomong apa pun ga jelas. tiap dia ngomong, gue sih teriak2 "YEAAAAAAAAAH!! YEAAAAH!!" tanpa tau dia ngomong apa ._.
di konser ini juga gue kehilangan fokus. gue.... naksir sama sang drummer dan gitaris yang belakangan gue tau namanya Nick Adams (drum) dan Andy Skib (gitar). mereka itu... GANTENG!
disaat selesai konser semua orang ribut berdebat bagaimana kerennya David Cook, terjadi perdebatan dalam diri gue tentang "kerenan mana, Nick atau Andy?" yang akhirnya membuat gue mengakhiri perdebatan diri dengan memutuskan untuk naksir mereka berdua.

selain konser pria-pria keren ini, keseruan juga dilengkapi oleh naksirnya teman gue yang kebetulan menang kuis tiket gratis kepada partner gue. tapi ga perlu gue tulis lebih mendalam kali yah, takut melanggar privasi orang #cieh

siapa ya finalis American Idol yang bakal gue tonton selanjutnya? I hope it's Adam Lambert :)

What can I say? Jason Mraz is musically perfect!

Setelah menghadiri presscon 2 hari sebelumnya bareng kakak Rendy yang bikin gue syok karna ramenya naujubileh, 22 Juni yang lalu gue nonton konser Jason Mraz. Sungguh tak direncanakan! Kali ini konsernya lebih seru karna gue nonton rame-rame.

Setelah beberapa bulan sering chat dan twitteran, gue akhirnya ketemu sama sang kakak kece pemilik Creative Disc, gege Welly *maaf, gue sok Chinese* yang jauh-jauh terbang dari Surabaya. Sebelum berangkat ke venue, kami ngumpul difx, mini-gathering fanbase. Ada Shafiq dan admin fanbase-fanbase kece macam One Direction Indonesia, Lady Gaga Indonesia, Britney Spears Indonesia, Beyonce Knowles Indonesia, Il Volo Indonesia, dan gue sendiri, McFly Indonesia. seneng punya temen baru! Setelah sesi foto-foto dan rebutan CD yang dibawain gege Welly *gue berhasil merampok CD Brandon Flowers – Flamingo*, kami berangkat ke venue bareng.

Di venue, kami terbagi ke beberapa kubu. Gue sama gege Welly – kubu media, Tania dan Fany – kubu premium dan Lady Gaga dan Monde – kubu regular. Yes, sebelumnya kami ga sadar kalo tiket nontonnya beda kelas!

Setelah ngeliput di presspit, gue dan sang kakak balik ke kelas premium, dan mulai menikmati konser.

Itulah kira-kira tampang gue nonton konser ini. Perfect banget! Gue bukan fans berat Jason Mraz, bahkan konser ini pun gue mendadak attend! Tapi… Gosh! Jason Mraz memang sempurna! Konser berdurasi 2.5 jam yang bikin kaki mau copot saking pegelnya tapi bikin hati gembira karna dihibur musik yang sempurna *I can’t stop saying perfect for Jason*. Lucky dan I’m Yours bener-bener bikin heboh penonton! Dan sweet waktu Jason bikin lagu ngucapin selamat ulang tahun buat Jakarta, yang bertepatan dengan konser hari itu. Di tengah konser, semua penonton nyanyi Happy Birthday buat Jason yang bikin dia salting gitu! Jason juga sempat nyanyi “disini senang~ disana senang~” yang diikuti koor penonton. Antara sweet dan lucu. Selama konser, gue cuma tau beberapa lagu, but I love them all! Gila! Nyanyi non-stop 2.5, suaranya tetap stabil! Mungkin kalo gue jadi dia, suara gue jadi kayak kambing minta kawin karna capek. Band pendukung Jason Mraz juga keren! 3 cowok botak di saxophone, 1 cewek pirang kece di biola, 1 bassis gondrong, 1 drummer ganteng, dan 1 gitaris yang bikin gue naksir. Gue juga terkesima waktu Mraz main piano bawain Mr. Curiousity dengan suara seriosa! Emaaaaakkk!! Syok parah dia bisa perfect begitu!

Sebenarnya yang ngefans berat sama Mraz itu bukan gue, tapi adik gue. Pas Make It Mine, gue nelpon dia supaya dia bisa denger suara Jason. Waktu Butterfly dan I’m Yours juga gue telpon lagi, berhasil bikin dia teriak2 dan ikutan nyanyi di telpon!

Konser Jason Mraz ini jarang banget keliatan anak SMP-SMA yang nonton. Kebanyakan orang-orang diatas 20 tahun! Bahkan sekumpulan ibu2 arisan juga histeris teriak “Jasoooon! Jasoooon!” dengan aksen Indonesia.

Hey yo! I’m back!

28 April lalu, gue ditugaskan untuk meliput Secondhand Serenade. Agak syok juga sih karna gue emang lumayan ngefans –ga ngefans amat- dan gue baru dikasih tau sehari sebelumnya! Kali ini gue punya partner lho!

Dijadwalkan mulai jam 6, namanya Indonesia –ngaret- tetep aja dimulainya jam 7, di sebuah kafe di Epiwalk Kuningan. Waktu John Vesely dkk muncul dari dapur, I was like “astaga.. inikah John yang tersyohor itu? apakah dia malaikat dari kahyangan? Apakah kahyangan itu di dapur?” Well, gue lebay.

John murah banget lempar senyum sana-sini! Gue sengaja ambil posisi tepat didepan dia, berharap kali aja dia liat gue, trus dia sadar dia menemukan jodohnya. Ok, gue lebay lagi.

Gue dan partner bagi tugas. Dia yang tugas nanya, gue tugas nyatet. Partner gue nanya pertama, dan dia langsung disambut ramah sama John Vesely dkk.! “hey dude!” “hey yo!” dan sapaan lain. Disini gue syok karna biasanya kalo presscon, 1 media cuma Tanya 1 pertanyaan. Tapi kali ini, partner gue langsung tanya banyak pertanyaan sekaligus! LOL

John benar-benar ramah. Tiap promoter lagi ngomong, gue –yang jadi fotografer- berbisik manggil “John! John!” dan dia instantly liat ke gue dan senyum! –tapi dia masih ga sadar kalo mungkin gue jodohnya- yesss!! Gue dapet beberapa foto John senyum ke kamera gue!

Waktu presscon selesai, beberapa wartawan mulai meninggalkan TKP. Tapi tidak untuk gue dan partner! Kami masih ngebet pengen foto bareng. Dan syukurlah bisa. Banyak pula! Gue bersyukur foto sama John, karna dia ga terlalu tinggi untuk ukuran bule –yang biasanya bikin gue minder kalo foto sama bule-

Sempet juga foto sama Lukas Vesely, Ryan Cook, dan Jon Wilkes. Mereka semua ramah!

Yang gue sesalkan, gue dikasih poster SHS, tapi gue lupa untuk minta tanda tangan di poster itu!

Another dream was coming true!

Sejak tahun 2006, gue bermimpi ngeliput konser tepat di depan stage –yang belakangan gue tau namanya ‘press pit’-

Waktu penonton udah masuk ke venue, gue dan banyak wartawan lain berkumpul dan baru masuk ketika sudah diizinkan. Jalan masuk dari backstage, rasanya gue melayang! Di depan backstage, gue benar-benar menikmati moment. I was living the dream! Gue menikmati berada di tengah kumpulan wartawan. Partner gue, yang bernama Ian, bersama wartawan lain, sibuk gangguin penonton di front row dengan pamer foto bareng John Vesely dkk. -_- gue bersyukur punya partner yang bisa pake SLR dan berbadan tinggi! Karna.. well, yeah, gue gaptek dan bertubuh kerdil.

Wartawan Cuma boleh ada di presspit selama 3 lagu pertama. Setelah itu, gue harus titipin kamera dan masuk lagi ke venue.

Gue bukan fans berat Secondhand Serenade, tapi anehnya gue hafal semua lagunya! Konser yang romantis, tapi ga bikin tepar. Gue punya temen baru, namanya Bertha, admin A1 Indonesia *salah 1 boyband fav gue juga.

Jadilah kami nonton bertiga. Gue, Bertha dan Ian. Gue dan Bertha sibuk fangirling, karna kami sama-sama naksir Ryan Cook. Ian? Dia sibuk “kok ga ada moshing sih?!” ya kali deh konser galau ada mosh! hahaha

Things I Love About McFly

      1. Their Music

Tak perlu diragukan, untuk meyukai musisi, musik adalah hal pertama yang gue sukai. Namanya juga musisi yeh! Musik McFly sangat enak dan ga bikin bosen untuk didengarkan berulang kali. Di album Above the Noise, McFly ngerubah musiknya jadi lebih pop, dan menurut gue itu adalah hal riskan untuk dilakukan. Bener aja, banyak yang berenti suka sama musik McFly. Tapi menurut gue, keberanian McFly merubah arah musik mereka merupakan hal yang patut diacungi jempol.

2. Their Silliness

Fans McFly pasti tau band macam apa McFly itu. Gila, norak, lucu, gatau malu, segalanya. Gue suka banyak band, tapi belum ada yang segila McFly. Gue susah menjelaskan bagaimana kegilaan mereka. You, Galaxy Defenders, must know very well! Contohnya mereka yang suka norak didepan kamera, mengadakan games yang mereka buat sendiri, ngerjain kru mereka. Oh ya! Gue punya sih band lain yang gue sukai. Mereka lucu, tapi lucu mereka cenderung rusuh dan kasar. Kalo McFly, mereka ngomong aja udah lucu. Bahkan cara mereka bernafas pun lucu kali! #eh

3. Their Friendship

Ini tak perlu diragukan. Persahabatan adalah hal utama solid’nya suatu band. Dan untungnya semua member McFly sangat bersahabat satu sama lain. Contohnya, waktu McFly baru dibentuk, Dougie baru umur 15 tahun, dan baru aja ditinggal ayahnya. Tapi di McFly, dia menemukan sosok panutan yang ngajarin dia jadi good person. Dougie juga cerita, waktu dia baru dewasa, Tom yang nganterin dia ke bank bikin rekening pertamanya dan Harry yang ngajarin dia bercukur. Member McFly juga sangat supportive. Waktu Danny ikut kontes nyanyi opera, anak2 McFly ga pernah absen untuk hadir di studio dan ngetwit heboh minta dukungan untuk Danny. Atau waktu Tom ikut acara The Cube, semua anak2 McFly nonton sebagai penasihat Tom. Waktu Dougie ikut I’m a Celeb, anak2 McFly ga berhenti ngetwit minta dukungan untuk Dougie, dan selalu ngetwit bagaimana bangganya mereka sama Dougie. Tom bahkan terbang langsung ke Australia buat jemput Dougie, dan setelah Dougie dinobatkan jadi King of Jungle, Tom lari ke jembatan kemenangan langsung peluk Dougie kesenengan, seakan2 Tom yang juara. Waktu Harry ikut Strictly Come Dancing, tiap minggu anak2 McFly pasti dateng ke studio untuk dukung Harry. Kalopun mereka ga bisa dateng, mereka selalu nonton di tv dan minta dukungan untuk Harry. Waktu Harry diumumkan jadi juara, anak2 McFly langsung lari ke atas stage dan heboh peluk Harry, sampe mereka harus diusir sama host acara saking rusuhnya! LOL

4. McFly bukan sekedar idola, tapi keluarga.

McFly sering banget ikut acara yang hasilnya bakal mereka sumbangkan untuk amal, kayak Comic Relief, Sport Relief, the Cube, Who Wants to Be A Millionaire, dan bermacam acara lainnya yang uangnya mereka amalkan 100%. Meskipun nama McFly sudah sangat besar di Inggris sana, mereka masih tetap humble. Mereka masih mau ketemu dan ngebaikin fansnya. Bahkan ngebelain fansnya dari security! *cieh gue nostalgia*

5. McFly berasa seperti sahabat sendiri

Anak2 McFly udah kayak temen deket sama fans2nya. Terbukti dari jumlah bully yang mereka dapatkan di twitter. LOL

Jadi Galaxy Defenders sering ngetwit “Tom, your big chin is silly”, “Harry, your long nose annoys me”, dan kata2 hinaan lainnya. Tapi itu bukan hinaan kebencian, tapi rasanya itu kayak bercanda sama temen deket sendiri!

Banyak hal lainnya yang bikin gue jatuh cinta sama McFly. Berapapun gue suka banyak band lain, cinta gue pasti berlabuh di McFly. #eaaaaa

We Are the In Crowd in Bandung (pt. 2)

Gue udah post tentang gimana gue ikut presscon WATIC dan ketemu langsung *bahkan ditolak Jordan*. Sekarang saatnyaaaa cerita tentang konsernya!

Jadi waktu diumumkan bahwa WATIC bakal konser di Indonesia, gue bahagia setengah mati. Tapi langsung ciut waktu diumumkan kalo WATIC bakal konser di Bandung, bukan di Jakarta. Yak! Gue udah yakin kalo gue ga bakal boleh nonton. Tapi akhirnya waktu gue ulang tahun, gue memohon untuk dibolehin ke Bandung, dan akhirnya di bolehin! Yey~

Ini pertama kalinya gue keluar kota sendiri. Gue sama sekali ga takut. Gue bahagia maksimal di perjalanan, ngebayangin ketemu Jordan *ingat, saat itu Jordan masih favorit gue*

Di Bandung setelah presscon, gue cepet2 ke venue, berharap dapet front row. Ternyata setelah sampe venue, JENG!! Hujan deras dan gue adalah orang ke-2 yang ada di venue *selain para kru tentunya* bengonglah gue sendirian, Cuma melayang2 mikirin abis dipeluk WATIC. Katanya gate mau dibuka jam 17.00, ternyata baru dibuka jam 18.30, pemirsah! Jadi total gue nunggu 3 jam. Sendirian, galau, dan melayang. Begitu masuk venue, gue seneng karna venue’nya itu berbentuk tangga berundak, sangat ramah bagi gue yang bertubuh semi-kerdil ini. Tapi Alhamdulillah gue dapet front row! Gue sengaja ambil agak disebelah kiri stage, karna gue pikir itu posisi antara Jordan dan Cameron *yang ternyata itu posisi Jordan-Mike*

Band asal Malaysia, Oh Chentaku tampil. Gue geli liat band ini! Bukan Cuma karna musiknya yang gar amah di telinga gue, tapi karna.. errr.. vokalisnya aneh. Rambutnya, baju yang dia pake, semuanya. Dan gue makin sebel karna dia suka ngeludah di stage! Ewh banget! Biasanya kalo personil band lempar botol minumnya, banyak yang mau nangkep. Eh pas dia lempar botol minumnya, pada menghindar! Ga ada yang mau nangkep, termasuk gue! LOL

Band kedua namanya Too Weak To Dance. Gue lumayan suka sama band ini. Ga lebay. Vokalisnya juga interaktif. Musiknya lebih ramah telinga.

Band ketiga, Gecko. Ini opening yang paling keren! Vokalisnya kayak sapi mau dipotong, lari dan gerak sana sini! Energik banget! Meskipun gue gatau lagunya, gue suka banget sama performance band ini. Jordan, Cameron dan Mike keliatan di samping stage lagi nonton Gecko perform! Cameron ikut goyang2 kepala, pokoknya keliatan mereka suka sama band ini.

Tirai ditutup. Para penonton berdebar berat nungguin WATIC. Kita tau WATIC udah dibalik tirai, siap2. Salah 1 moment memorable, lagu All Time Low - Weightless di puter. 1 venue nyanyi. Dan gue gatau itu Cameron apa Jordan, sempet ngiringin lagu ini pake gitar walau Cuma sebentar.

JRENG!

Tampillah WATIC ke stage ngebawain Rumor Mill. Gue bersyukur orang2 di sebelah dan belakang gue heboh, jadi gue bisa ikutan heboh! Seneng banget waktu Never Be What You Want dibawain. Ini lagu yang paling gue tunggu, dan ditunggu juga sama kebanyakan penonton. Begitu intro dimainkan, kita langsung loncat2 heboh. WATIC juga loncat2 diatas stage *kecuali Rob yang ga mungkin main drum sambil loncat2.

Di lagu On Your Own, kisruh sempet terjadi di barisan sebelah gue. Gara2 Tay lembar handuknya, dan handuk itu diperebutkan banyak orang. Gue sih cuek aja! Ga mau kehilangan moment! :p

Pas lagu You’ve Got It Made (encore) dibawain secara akustik, gitar Jordan error. Suaranya cempreng dan ngilang2 gitu! Kru’nya panic lari2 benerin gitar Jordan. Jordan juga keliatan agak panic, dia tetep terusin permainannya dan Tay terus nyanyi. Untuk bilang ke Jordan kalo “it’s okay!”, semua penonton nyanyi lebih keras. Sepertinya Tay n Jordan ngerti maksud kita nyanyi lebih keras, dan mungkin Jordan mikir “whatever!” dia berenti main gitar, jadi cuma nyanyi tanpa instrument. Menurut gue itu romantis banget!!

Konser ditutup dengan Both Sides of the Story, salah satu lagu yang paling ditunggu. Semua loncat2 heboh nyanyiin lagu ini. Akhirnya WATIC menghilang dari stage. Perasaan gue ga karuan. Antara seneng yang berlebihan dan sedih karna konsernya udah berakhir.

Intinya, gue anggap konser ini sebagai hadiah ulang tahun terbaik gue.

We are the In Crowd in Bandung (pt.1)

Thanks to Creative Disc, gue dapet kesempatan buat ikut presscon WATIC. Presscon dijadwalkan 5 April 2012 jam 1 siang di 9 Square Bar and Resto Bandung. Ini pertama kalinya gue keluar kota sendirian! gue sampe 2 jam lebih cepet, jadinya muter2 dulu dibandung. *sok jadi traveler gitu!

Langit semakin mendung, gue akhirnya jalan menuju lokasi presscon, dan nunggu sekitar 2 jam, karna ternyata WATIC ngaret, pemirsaaaaah!

*fyi, gue ngetik ini sambil deg2an.

Gue nunggu sama wartawan lain *yang keliatan lebih profesional dan agak bikin gue ciut* dan beberapa fans yang mau ikut M&G. Detik, menit, dan jam berlalu...

Lokasi mulai rame sama kru. Jantung gue makin berdebar.

Menit berlalu...

HERE THEY ARE! WE ARE THE IN CROWD! TEPAT DI DEPAN MATA GUE!

Tay yang pertama masuk, dan dia langsung menuju ruang presscon. ga lama kemudian, Jordan, Mike, Cameron dan Rob yang masuk, tapi mereka masih berdiri di depan pintu masuk, ngobrol. gue spontan ambil pocket camera dari tas, dan gemeteran nyamperin cowok2 itu. gue datengin Jordan duluan karna waktu itu dia lah yang paling gue idolakan.

gue sambil gemeteran: "uhm.. can I take a picture?" dan jawaban yang ga gue sangka keluar dari mulut Jordan. "I don't think you can" dan dia langsung pergi ninggalin gue gitu aja! NINGGALIN GUE, PEMIRSA! taulah gimana rasanya patah hati ditolak idola yang lo pikir bakal ramah banget. Gue masih berdiri disitu, syok, gatau mau ngapain. Mike, Rob dan Cameron ngikutin Jordan pergi, tapi Cameron sempet nengok dan senyum ke gue. gue ga bales senyuman dia karna gue masih ngumpulin kepingan hati gue yang berantakan akibat baru saja ditolak Jordan.

Akhirnya gue ikut masuk ke ruang presscon, dan ambil tempat yang paling strategis, tepat di depan WATIC. saat itu Jordan dan Cameron lagi bercanda2, bikin bayang2an pake tangan di lampu proyektor. pas foto mereka muncul di layar, mereka main2in foto mereka *dan Jordan pervy euy!*. Jordan dan Cameron main sambil loncat2. gue duduk disitu dengan muka bego, ga percaya bisa liat WATIC didepan mata gue! Rob ikutan main dengan bikin suara anjing gila -_-"

semakin lama, candaan mereka makin lucu. ga sadar, gue ketawa keras. tiba2 Cameron nengok ke gue dan ketawa! disini, gue masih belum menyadari kebaikan Cameron. Setelah mereka selesai becanda, Mike dan Cameron paling rajin ambil kue yang disediakan. Cameron sempat duduk didepan gue, tapi gue masih ga berani nyapa karna gue takut ditolak lagi seperti hal'nya di tolak Jordan. Tay sempet duduk disebelah gue, meskipun agak jauh, tapi gue juga masih ga berani ngajak ngomong.

Presscon dimulai sekitar jam 3. gue sibuk nyatet apa yang mereka bilang, dan ambil foto beberapa kali. disini gue masih sangat mengharapkan Jordan notice gue *meskipun udah patah hati ditolak dia*

gue sempet nanya 2x. yang pertama, gue nanya tentang duet mereka bareng Alex Gaskarth di lagu Kiss Me Again. *jantung gue rasanya mau loncat keluar karna sadar WATIC ngeliatin gue, dan gue ngomong sambil ngeliatin Jordan. yang ke-2, karna suasana sangat kaku dan awkward, gue ngasih pertanyaan yang menurut gue, pertanyaan itu bodoh dan ga penting. tapi gue cuma mau liat WATIC ketawa! dan GUE BERHASIL! Mereka semua ketawa, jawab sambil ketawa, dan Cameron yang ketawanya paling lama! Cameron juga lempar pertanyaan ini buat dijawab manajernya. manajernya juga ketawa ngakak sambil bilang "it's a horrible question!" eh Jordan bilang "no it's good!" Cameron bilang "I like it!"

setelah sesi tanya jawab selesai, WATIC digiring ke photo booth. Setelah di foto beberapa kali, wartawan mulai bubar. ini kesempatan gue satu-satunya!

Akhirnya gue nyamperin WATIC lagi *didepan Cameron n Rob*

gue: *gemeteran* "Honestly, I'm also a fan. Can I get a hug?"

Cameron: "sure!"

Rob: "aw! come here!" Rob peluk gue, gue balas peluk, dan ga nyangka Rob peluk gue erat banget, dan lama! dia meluk gue sambil "oooooh" *nada manja* Rob empuk ih! enaaaak! :p

gue beralih ke Cameron. gue peluk dia, dan dia meluk gue sambil "mmmm" *ngikutin Rob, nada manja*. tiba2 dia bilang "whoa! you're shaking!" dan gue lepasin pelukannya sambil senyum bego.

beralih lagi, kali ini ke Tay. gue seneng karna tinggi Tay dan gue ga beda jauh, dan Tay ramah!

Tay: "hey!"

gue: "I've been waiting for so long, you know!"

Tay: "thank you! you're awesome!"

saat ini gue beralih ke Jordan. gue masih agak takut gitu sama dia..

Jordan nyamperin gue dan gue bilang "wow you're soooo tall!"

Jordan langsung peluk gue, dan kita pelukan awkwardly gitu! abisan Jordan tinggi banget! Jordan bilang: "It's always weird when I hug people!"

Tay: "he's got very long legs!

Jordan: "weird!" *sambil nunjukin kakinya.

selanjutnya gue ke Mike, tapi cuma peluk sekilas karna Mike lagi sibuk ngerokok.

Gue nyamperin Rob dan Cameron lagi, karna menurut gue, mereka yang paling asik.

gue: "I'm not supposed to be this shaking, but yeah!"

Cameron: "yeah you're shaking!" trus Cameron sama Rob ketawa2. gue ikutan ketawa, tapi ketawa bego gitu saking gugupnya! :p Tay ikutan nimbrung, tapi gue lupa dia ngomong apa -_-

gue: "Can I possibly take pictures together?"

Cameron: "sure!"

Rob: "yeah take your camera!"

Tay: "let's go!"

gue ninggalin mereka sebentar, cari mas2 yang bisa fotoin. kamera gue kasih ke si mas, dan gue ke WATIC lagi. gue bilang "I'm the second female singer!". Mereka semua ketawa. Jordan juga ketawa sambil bilang "yes you are!"

Setelah foto, gue bilang: "so good luck tonight! I'll be coming!"

Tay: "thank you very much! you're awesome!"

Cameron: "thank you! see you tonight!"
