Internship!

Hi beautiful people! yep, that's my office now. No, not Gedung Pancasila, but the building next to it. hehe
I'm currently being an internee at Directorate for North and Central America, Ministry of Foreign Affairs RI. I was not sure to have my internship here, cuz I was scared. Afraid. felt I was not smart enough. I hated IR. you name it. but here I am! enjoying my internship.
The first day was scary, though, cause I'm a very shy person, and I hardly adjust myself in new environment. Thank God I have very nice people here at my office! The first week was boring, honestly, cause I didn't have much work to do. It's my 4th week, and I'm one hell of a busy bee! sort of....
My supervisor is very good to me. He cares about my progress. He regularly comes to me, asking me what things that I have learnt by working here. Much, sir. very much! I mean.. I'm not that straight A student of IR, I'm not that good at speaking, but well, it's fun to know things that people haven't known yet! In high school, I was dreaming to work at Kemlu and becoming an ambassador. Then I got into university and forgot my dream. I wasn't into IR, although I was studying IR. Here, I fall in love with IR once again. IR is not that scary!
Anyway! My internship mentor is so cool! Her name is Isyana Arslan, I've read her blog, and she's bloody awesome! She still has this young spirit. When I met her, I can confirm that she's the coolest lecturer, EVER!! Found out that she's a friend of my friend. haha! It's a small world after all..
Been dying to tell everything I'm going through here in Kemlu, but I know I will bore you. Have 2 months left to be an internee at Kemlu, then I'm going to move to Kemenparekraf, another new adventure. It sucks to know that I'm gonna face a new environment soon. And ooooh! thesis is waiting!
